Who we are

A&C2000 has a working team of founding members and a dynamic group of specialists. The different experiences of professional engineers, architects, surveyors and humanists give the company a capacity based on the personal skills of each individual expert.

Managing Director: Renzo Carlucci ( rca-at-aec2000.eu)
More than 25 years of experience in the field of geomatics and cultural heritage. He was project leader of the first project EUREKA Italian (1992) in the Cultural Heritage (EUROCARE EUREKA EU 598 Refran), aimed to quick cataloguing of monuments and archaeological sites. Participated in the MoU, Memorandum of Understanding for the Multimedia Access to European Cultural Heritage, for which he has realized the contribution: "Images - standards and methodologies" in the Working Group 1 - Standards and protocols. He has been a member of the "Commission Normal - Istituto Centrale del Restauro / CNR / UNI" for the section on graphics and survey. Conducts academic activities as a Lecturer in Geomatics and Topography for over 25 years at the Universities of Rome and of L'Aquila. Currently Editorial Director of Geomedia and expert for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Cooperation to Development of Cultural Heritage in the Middle East region.

Technical Manager: Fabrizio Bernardini (fb-at-aec2000.eu)
more than 20 years of experience in the fields of electronics and software engineering. After a few years of technical jobs at Rome University “La Sapienza” he worked for 5 years in Alenia Spazio (now Thales Alenia Space) as systems engineer on different missions and now still works as consultant on different aerospace projects. Since joining A&C 2000 he provides technical support to applications in geomatics and cultural heritage. In recent times he has developed different web-based systems for technical applications (geotechnical monitoring, access to planetary research data, flight data monitoring) and is involved in projects that make use of open-source software. He writes on different magazines, including GEOmedia (published by A&C 2000), and is a Fellow of the British Interplanetary Society.

 

Sales Manager: Alfonso Quaglione (aquaglione-at-aec2000.eu)
degree in economics, is responsible for sales and marketing. He started his first experience as an analyst and then project manager by participating in numerous national and European projects (Cultural Heritage Risk Map, Feasibility study of the new museum in Cairo, Civil Defense, Transport, etc.). The professional profile is enhanced by skills in complex solutions for the security of computer systems.

degree in Communication Sciences is currently director of the magazine Geomedia and main columnist of the portal www.rivistageomedia.it
