Located about 25 km west of Nîmes, the archaeological site of Ambrussum is particularly interesting because it demonstrates the different constructional techniques of the Gauls and Romans and the elements common to the two cultures.  
At Ambrussum it is possible to admire the remains of the most famous Roman bridge in the south of France: the ponte Ambroix
